Cleaning Hints

Household Cleaning:

Use of toxic cleaning products represents a major source of chemical pollution in the home. Toxic chemicals have long-term harmful effects on the body and may cause cancer and other diseases, especially chronic illness.
Everyone who is chemically sensitive or wants to avoid becoming chemically sensitive should keep contact with synthetic chemicals to a minimum. The more exposure to chemicals, the greater danger of adverse results. Limiting chemical exposure in the home can increase the chances of the human body handling the onslaught of chemicals outside of the home. Whether a chemical is ingested, inhaled, or absorbed through the skin, it enters the bloodstream with the same adverse results.
